Green vegetable smoothie
with avocado

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 300 ml Joya Oats Drink or Oat Chia Drink
  • 1 avocado, peeled, pitted
  • 180 g cucumber, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, cut into pieces
  • 250 g spinach leaves
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 3 tbs hemp seed
  • 1 ts ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 handful ice cubes

A fresh and spicy vegetable smoothie that will give you energy for the day. Avocado gives it a smooth taste. Have it for breakfast or in the afternoon.

  1. Pour the Joya Oats Drink into a blender.
  2. Add the avocado, cucumber, celery, spinach, lemon juice, hemp seeds, ginger, cayenne pepper and salt. Puree the avocado and vegetables by blending first at low speed and then gradually increasing the speed until the leaves are totally pulverized and mingled with the other ingredients. Add the ice cubes. Mix again until the ice cubes are crushed.
  3. Divide the smoothie between the glasses. Garnish with celery stalks.
