- Pat the Joya Organic Tofu Natural dry and cut into small cubes.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick frying pan, salt the flaked almonds and fry them briefly in the oil.
- Blend the tofu with the roasted flaked almonds, onions, the remaining olive oil, parsley, basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, nutmeg, salt and pepper into a creamy spread using a suitable mixer/cutter or a hand blender.
Tip: The tofu and herb spread is perfect on fresh bread and can be prettily garnished with basil and cherry tomatoes.
